Real Madrid vs Tottenham Hotspur Preview and Prediction: Madrid to Win 2-1 at 7/1
Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur will play their third game of the Champions League group stage at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu on Tuesday, 17th October.
These teams have not played since the 2010/2011 Champions League when they played twice. Real Madrid won the first game 4 – 0 and the second game 0 – 1.
Real Madrid won their first two group stage games, beating Apoel and Borussia Dortmund. Over the weekend they defeated Getafe 1 – 2 and are currently on a four game winning streak.
Tottenham Hotspur have also won their first two games, defeating Borussia Dortmund then Apoel. Last weekend they defeated Bournemouth 1 – 0 and have also enjoyed a string of excellent results. The teams are tied on goal difference and points in their qualifying group and both will be looking to maintain their 100% start to the competition. It is bound to be an exciting and competitive match but as current European champions and with the home advantage Real Madrid are sure to prove to be incredibly difficult to overcome.
A 2 – 1 win for Real Madrid is the most likely outcome with Paddy Power and Boyle Sports both offering odds of 7/1.
