Tottenham Hotspur vs Borussia Dortmund Preview and Prediction: Draw 1-1 at 6/1
Tottenham Hotspur and Borussia Dortmund will play their first group stage game of the Champions League at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday, 13th September.
The teams last played in the Europa League during the 2015/16 season. Their first game, in March 2016, ended in a 3 – 0 win for Borussia Dortmund and the second, a week later, ended in a 1 – 2 win for Borussia Dortmund.
Tottenham Hotspur have been playing extremely well over the last season and a bit. They have had a fairly solid start to their domestic season with wins over Newcastle and Everton. However, they were held to a draw by Burnley and this will have dented their confidence.
Borussia Dortmund are currently at the top of the Bundesliga after three games having won two games and drawn the other. They have had consistently good results over the past couple of months and are sure to be feeling confident.
Tottenham Hotspur will be determined to avoid a repeat of their last meeting. Everything suggests that this will be an extremely close match and it is sure to be exciting.
A 1 – 1 draw is the most likely outcome with Paddy Power and Boyle Sports both offering odds of 6/1.
