Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea Preview and Prediction: Draw 1-1 at 6/1
Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea will play their second match of the Premier League season at Wembley Stadium in London on Sunday, 20th August.
The teams regularly face each other in the Premier League and other English competitions. They most recently played in April in the FA Cup and Chelsea won the game 4 – 2. However, before that they played in January in the Premier League and Tottenham Hotspur won 2 – 0.
Tottenham Hotspur began their season with an excellent 2 – 0 win away against Newcastle United and that came just a week after an impressive 2 – 0 win over Juventus in a friendly.
Chelsea on the other hand had a disastrous start to the season losing 2 – 3 at home to Burnley. That came on the heels of losing 4 – 1 to Arsenal on penalties in the Community Shield.
Chelsea desperately need to turn things around and are bound to feel under pressure. Tottenham on the other hand have been consistently impressive in recent weeks and will be feeling confident and comfortable playing before their home crowd.
A 1 – 1 draw is the most likely outcome with Paddy Power and Boyle Sports offering odds of 6/1 and 11/2 respectively.
