Romavs Juventus Preview and Prediction: Draw 1- 1 at 6/1
Romaand Juventus will playin the International Champions Cup at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts on Sunday, 30th July.
The teams have an intense rivalry in Serie A and will be looking to get ahead in the battle for supremacy before the new season starts. They last played in May and Roma won 3 – 1. Before that they played in December 2016 and Juventus won 1 – 0. Generally they have a very balanced record with the home team tending to win.
Roma has been having a good preseason with a 2 – 3 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in their last match of the International Champions Cup. Before that they lost out to PSG on penalties and they won a couple of friendlies earlier in the month.
Juventus’ preseason has not been as successful. They defeated PSG 2 – 3 on Thursday but before that they lost 1 – 2 to Barcelona. Their prior game was the Champions League final which they lost 1 – 4 to Real Madrid. This is sure to be an extremely hard fought match and it should be very close. Victory for either team will give them a huge psychological boost ahead of the new season.
