Roma vs PSG Preview and Prediction: Draw 1 - 1 at 13/2
Roma and PSG will play in the International Champions Cup at the Detroit Catholic Central High School, Novi, Michigan on Thursday, 20th July.
Despite being two of Europe’s most successful teams, Roma and PSG have never actually played each other before and both teams are sure to be relishing the challenge.
Both finished second in their respective leagues last season and will be eager to make the most of the preseason friendlies in preparation of trying to go one better in the next season.
Roma is currently on a five game winning streak. This month they have won a friendly with Slovacko 1 – 0 and a friendly against Pinzolo Campiglio 0 – 8. The majority of the team are available for this game with just Rick Karsdorp and Emerson Palmieri absent with injuries.
PSG hasn’t played a match since May when they won the Coupe de France defeating Angers 0 – 1 in the final. The team is missing a few first team players including Serge Aurier, Ben Arfa and Krychowiak. However, new signings Daniel Alves and Yuri Berchiche are part of the squad.
A 1 – 1 draw is the most likely outcome with Paddy Power and Boyle Sports offering odds of 13/2 and 6/1 respectively.
Paddy Power Odds: 3/1 Roma to Win, 11/4 for a Draw and 4/6 PSG to Win
Boyle Sports: 16/5 Roma to Win, 13/5 for a Draw and 3/4 PSG to Win
