Real Madrid vs Valencia Preview and Prediction: Madrid to Win 3-0 at 8/1

Real Madrid and Valencia will play their second match of the La Liga season at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid on Sunday, 27th August.

Match Preview:

Last season Real Madrid won both games against Valencia, the first 3 – 2 and the second 2 – 1. The last time that Valencia defeated Real Madrid was 2 – 3 in March 2008. However, they have drawn a number of times in recent years.

Real Madrid has been in excellent form over the past month. They won their first match of the season 0 – 3 against Deportivo La Coruna. Since then they have won a friendly 2 – 1 against Fiorentina and before the season began they defeated Barcelona 5 – 1 on aggregate in the Super Cup.

Valencia also won their first match of the season defeating Las Palmas 1 – 0. Before that they lost a friendly 1 – 2 to Atalanta but they did win three prior club friendlies: 1 – 2 against Werder Bremen, 0 – 1 against AFC Bournemouth and 0 – 2 against Cincinnati.

At present Real Madrid look to be unstoppable and the team is likely to be feeling extremely confident. Valencia will certainly have their work cut out.
