Arsenal Interested In Inter Milan’s Marcelo Brozovic
Arsenal are reportedly considering a move for Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic according to reports in Italy.
The Gunners’ boss, Arsene Wenger, is eager to boost his options in midfield after bringing in fullback Sead Kolasinac and signing the French striker Alexandre Lacazette for a club record fee.
Wenger is known to have been admiring Brozovic for a long time and has sent scouts to watch the Croatian international in action on a number of occasions last season.
There have been numerous reports linking Brozovic with various top Premier League clubs such as Chelsea and Manchester United but so far, there has been no official move for the player.
However, Arsenal are now reportedly increasing their interest in the 24 year old as they aim to get the team back into the Premier League’s top four next season.
Inter Milan have said that they are open to offers for Brozovic as they are looking to sell some players this year to make sure that they comply with Financial Fair Play regulations.
Brozovic moved to Inter Milan from Dinamo Zagreb in 2015 but since then he has struggled to hold down a regular starting place and has failed to show his true form.
As a player he is comfortable anywhere across midfield. Last season he scored seven goals and contributed five assists in 35 appearances for Inter Milan and Wenger thinks that he is a player that can bring more creativity to Arsenal’s attack.
