France vs England Preview and Prediction: Draw 1-1 at 11/2
France and England will play an International Friendly match at the Stade de France on Tuesday, 13th June.
The teams last played each other in November 2015 and England won the game 2 – 0. However, that was England’s only recent victory over France. They drew 1 – 1 in June 2012 and France won the three games prior to that, 1 – 2, 1 – 0 and 2 – 1.
France suffered from a surprise defeat to Sweden over the weekend and will be looking to make amends for that against one of their biggest rivals. The team also lost to Spain earlier this year so will be eager to boost confidence with a strong performance.
After England’s disappointing performance in Euro 2016 last year they will be feeling the pressure in international matches. They took on Scotland over the weekend and just managed to secure a 2 – 2 draw and will be looking to better on this result when they take on France.
A 1 – 1 draw is the most likely result with Boyle Sports and Paddy Power offering odds of 5/1 and 11/2 respectively.
Paddy Power: 10/11 France to Win, 11/5 for a Draw and 16/5 England to Win
Boyle Sports: 1/1 France to Win, 23/10 for a Draw and 14/5 England to Win
